German Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel is starting high level trade talks with Iranian officials in Tehran Monday. Representatives from dozens of German companies joined Gabriel for the three-day trip following last week's landmark nuclear agreement. The deal between Tehran and Britain, China, France, Russia and the U.S. curb's Iran's nuclear program while allowing an easing of economic sanctions. Critics of the deal have been outspoken. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday the deal will facilitate Iran's desire to build a nuclear weapon. The deal paves the way for Iran to arm itself with nuclear weapons, Netanyahu told his cabinet. As long as Iran continues their calls of "death to Israel" there is no reason to make any concessions for them. U.S. Secretary of Defense Ash Carter is now in Israel in an attempt to smooth out political tensions between the two countries over the accord. Just before landing in Tel Aviv on Sunday, Carter stressed the rock-solid relationship between the two countries, but said friends can disagree.
