A funeral is held for five Houthis killed in a car bombing claimed by Islamic State in the Yemeni capital as mourners express defiance, vowing ''convoys of martyrs.'' Deborah Lutterbeck reports.

Coffins holding the bodies of five Houthis killed by an Islamic State suicide attack in Yemen. They are among more than 3,600 people killed in a conflict pitting Sunni Gulf states which support the exiled government against the Shi'ite Houthis allied to Iran. Amid the death toll -- defiance. (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) SON OF ONE OF THE VICTIMS, TAHA AL TABIB, SAYING: "We came for the funeral of the martyrs who were killed in the criminal explosion outside of the Mueed mosque. We will give many martyrs. I have already given my brother and father, and we will offer convoys of martyrs. Their bombs and their planes will not scare us away." The Houthis took over the capital Sanaa last September, prompting the President to flee to Aden in February before leaving for Saudi Arabia as Houthi forces closed in on the city.
