France has thrown more resources into the search for additional debris from Malaysian Airlines MH370. The passenger jet mysteriously vanished over a year ago but the search has ramped up following confirmation that part of a wing discovered by beachcombers on France's Reunion island, matches that of the missing plane. Reunion Island Prefect Dominique Sorain says the orders to expand search efforts came from the French President and Prime Minister. (SOUNDBITE) (French) REUNION ISLAND PREFECT, DOMINIQUE SORAIN, SAYING: "We have put in place, search measures in the ocean, with aerial means, we have a military plane in the process of patrolling at the moment which could be reinforced by a navy helicopter or by navy patrollers if it were necessary, if debris were identified and if it were necessary to collect it and bring it to land." The Malaysian government has appealed to neighboring Mauritius and Madagascar to help, although so far, no other debris has been found. One item that appeared to be a plane window, did not come from MH370. So..the search for more clues behind one of aviation's greatest mysteries presses on.
