Militia men loyal to exiled Yemeni President Hadi have advanced into the city of Ibb -- a significant move into territory that had been held for months by Iran-allied Houthis. The tribal fighters entered the central city from two surrounding rural areas and set up checkpoints at its entrances. Yemen has been torn by months of civil war between supporters of the government -- which is exiled in Saudi Arabia -- and the Houthis -- who hold the capital of Sanaa and much of the north. In Saana, pro-Houthi protesters took to the streets to denounce Saudi-led airstrikes that are intended to oust the Houthis from the country. In recent weeks a Sunni-Arab coalition and the pro-government troops have forced the Houthis out of several major towns and cities in the south and center of the country. The fighting in recent months has killed more than 43-hundred people.
