The director general of the U.N. nuclear watchdog visits Iran, meeting with President Hassan Rouhani, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, and head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran- Ali Akbar Salehi. Gavino Garay reports.

Amid a flurry of controversy in the United States on the heels of a nuclear deal between six world powers and Iran in July... a key meeting in Tehran. The director general of the U.N. nuclear watchdog Yukiya Amano met with president Hassan Rouhani, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, and the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran- Ali Akbar Salehi. The IAEA is investigating whether Iran carried out work aimed at developing an atomic bomb. The nuclear watchdog said it had sent Tehran questions about "ambiguities" in submissions relating to past nuclear activities. It will provide an assessment on "possible military dimensions" of Iran's nuclear program by the end of the year. The agency said technical expert meetings will be held in the coming days to "remove" the ambiguities.
