Canada's Prime Minister-designate Justin Trudeau says he spoke with U.S. President Barack Obama about the U.S.-led mission against Islamic State, the TPP, and had conversations with other world leaders. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Canada's Prime Minister-designate Justin Trudeau says he talked with U.S. President Barack Obama about the fight against Islamic State militants, and also spoke broadly with the U.S. President about the Trans-Pacific Partnership. Obama and Trudeau talked about the recently completed Trans-Pacific Partnership, combating terrorism and working together to achieve an "ambitious" climate agreement in Paris later this year, the White House said. The Prime Minister-designate also said he spoke with French President Francois Hollande, Italian Prime Minster Matteo Renzi, and Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto.
