France is rocked by multiple, near simultaneous attacks on entertainment sites around Paris, killing scores of people. Jillian Kitchener reports.

Dozens are reportedly dead in Paris after multiple, nearly simultaneous attacks on entertainment sites. ... And hostages were held in a concert hall. Panic broke out after at least two explosions were heard near the Stade de France stadium during a soccer match, with President Francois Hollande in attendance. He is now declaring a state of emergency and their national borders shut. In the U.S., President Obama pledged his government's support to the French people. SOUNDBITE: U.S. PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA, SAYING: "This is an attack on all of humanity and the universal values that we share." The apparently coordinated gun and bomb attacks came as the country stood on high alert for terrorist attacks ahead of a global climate conference that opens later this month. Western security sources said they suspected an Islamist militant group was behind the carnage... although details are still emerging.
