ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump says he would be tougher on U.S. terrorism than President Obama, and says political correctness is causing problems in America. Speaking from Raleigh, North Carolina, Trump told CBS' Face the Nation there were "red flags" in the case of the San Bernardino shooting. "A lot of people knew what was going on in that house or that apartment and people were not wanting to call because they thought it would be inappropriate," Trump said. As investigators probe Wednesday's rampage as an act of terrorism, the White House said President Obama will address the nation on Sunday evening to update the public. If the Dec. 2 mass shooting proves to have been the work of people inspired by Islamist militants, it would be the deadliest such attack in the United States since Sept. 11, 2001. "If you have people coming out of mosques with hatred and with death in their eyes and on their minds, we're going to have to do something," said Trump.
