ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) In his weekly address, President Obama took a look back at 2015 and offered his top 10 list to recap the year. He cited improvements in the economy, his change in policy toward Cuba, the Iran nuclear deal, and the historic climate agreement struck in Paris. Obama said all those accomplishments are reasons to be optimistic in the coming year. He ended the list by saying, "The number one reason I'm optimistic going into 2016: It's you, the American people. All of this progress is because of you because of workers rolling up their sleeves and getting the job done, and entrepreneurs starting new businesses. Because of teachers and health workers and parents-all of us taking care of each other. Because of our incredible men and women in uniform, serving to protect us all. Because, when we're united as Americans, there's nothing that we cannot do." The president and his family are finishing off the year in Hawaii where they will spend the holidays.
