ROUGH CUT - SUBTITLED (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Snow falls in Tokyo for the first time this year. Many commuters are late for work as trains have been delayed and taxis are in high demand. Train stations were packed. (SOUNDBITE)(Japanese) COMPANY EMPLOYEE AFFECTED BY WEATHER, TAKESHI NAKAMURA, SAYING: "Everyone got into work an hour late today so we had to start work late. This was slightly troublesome." More than 100 people in the region have been sent to hospital due to injuries from slipping or falling. (SOUNDBITE)(Japanese) UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR, MARIKO KATO, SAYING: "There was less snow than I expected so I thought everything would be okay, but the roads were really slippery and awful." The Japanese Meteorological Agency has sent out warnings of possible blizzards and heavy snowfall along northern and western Japan as night approaches.
