As Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio defends his repetitive responses in Saturday's debate at a town hall meeting in New Hampshire.... (SOUNDBITE) (English) MARCO RUBIO, REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, SAYING: "All of the things that made us special are in trouble." Critics were outside, mocking him. (SOUNDBITE) (English) EDDIE VALE, MAN DRESSED AS ROBOT MOCKING MARCO RUBIO'S DEBATE PERFORMANCE, SAYING: "Good morning, everybody. Marco Rubio-bot here. As I told people last night, Barack Obama knows exactly what he's doing. Barack Obama knows exactly what he's doing. Barack Obama knows exactly what he's doing. Oh, Chris Christie." But his supporters weren't laughing. The stumble comes as Rubio was trying to convert the gains he made at the Iowa caucus last week into a strong showing in New Hampshire's primary, and it worries some supporters. (SOUNDBITE) (English) GARY NELSON, NEW HAMPSHIRE VOTER, SAYING: "He didn't do so well in the debate last night. I watched it, so just wondering how he's going to recoup from that." (SOUNDBITE) (English) LYNN BRENNAN, NEW HAMPSHIRE VOTER, SAYING: "The very beginning was a little stumbly and I was a little embarrassed for him, but the second part he was good." The poor showing comes as Rubio was trying to woo away voters from Republican rivals Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. On Tuesday, New Hampshire voters will let him know how much of an impact he's having.
