U.S. officials say President Barack Obama is going to Cuba. The historic trip to Havana is expected in the next few weeks, and comes in the final year of Obama's presidency. It will cap one of his biggest foreign policy acheivements... normalizing relations with the island nation. The announcement came shortly after the U.S. and Cuba signed an agreement to restore scheduled air service between the two countries after half a century. A senior administration official says the visit will be part of a broader trip to Latin America. The Republican-controlled Congress has refused to lift the decades old U.S. trade embargo on Cuba. But Obama has used his executive authority to relax trade and travel restrictions.
