NO ACCESS VERMONT MEDIA MARKET WEBSITES.**~ ROUGH CUT - (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Republican presidential candidate John Kasich hit the campaign trail outside of South Carolina, and headed to a high school in Colchester, Vermont, where he told students that, win or lose the Republican South Carolina primary, he's running a "positive" campaign. "I'm going to run a positive campaign whether I win or not," Kasich said. He added that Democratic or Republican, he'll welcome votes from both sides of the isle. Republicans in South Carolina are voting on Saturday in the state-by-state contest to pick nominees for the Nov. 8 election, with opinion polls showing front-runner Donald Trump trying to solidify his spot at the top of the pack and rivals Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio fighting for a second-place finish.
