Obama makes history with trip to Cuba

U.S. President Barack Obama is set to arrive in Cuba for a two-day visit, making history by venturing into the former Cold War enemy. Linda So reports.

The streets of Havana making way for an historic visit by U.S. President Barack Obama. Cubans are preparing to welcome Obama when he arrives on the island nation on Sunday, the first such visit by a U.S. president in 88 years. NATS: PHONE CALL Obama brushing up on his Spanish in a phone call with Cuban comedian Panfilo. Welcome signs with images of Obama alongside Cuban President Raul Castro have gone up in Old Havana. Obama will tour the city shortly after landing on Sunday. He and Castro are due to meet on Monday, a state dinner is planned for that night. Obama will then give a speech on live Cuban TV on Tuesday and attend a baseball game between the Cuban national team and Florida's Tampa Bay Rays. Cubans are hoping the groundbreaking visit will usher in positive changes like the end of the embargo.
