It was a long time coming... but for tens of thousands of Rolling Stones fans in Cuba, watching the iconic group play live was an historic moment. The band played a free outdoor concert on Friday night to a massive crowd at a sports arena in Havana. Once considered dangerously subversive, their music was prohibited in Communist-led Cuba for years. For fans young and old, the performance was highly significant. I feel very proud to be here, this fan said. Everything is perfect. It's the best thing that has ever happened to me, another person said. I love them. The Stones formed in London in 1962, three years after Fidel Castro's bearded rebels toppled a pro-American government. Friday's show capped off a week that saw U.S. President Barack Obama visit the island, the first American leader to do so in more than 80 years.
