The U.S. State Department has suspended plans for its internal review of Hillary Clinton's emails -- at the request of the FBI. The department says it will pause its review to avoid interfering with the FBI's own ongoing investigation into the matter. Officials at the State Department WERE planning to look into whether classified information passed through Clinton's private email account run on a server in her home. The State Department consulted the FBI about this in February, and in March the law enforcement agency asked the State Department to halt its inquiry. Clinton, the Democratic presidential front-runner, has apologized for using a private server for official business while in office, but she's maintained she did nothing wrong. The State Department says it will reassess its next steps after the FBI completes its own investigation.
