In Pedernales, rescue workers are doing a final sweep with their dogs to check for trapped survivors. The town on the coast of Ecuador bore the brunt of Saturday's earthquake that killed more than 500 people. The death toll's expected to rise further. Ecuador's president, Rafael Correa, says the priority now is to clear the dead bodies. (SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) ECUADOR PRESIDENT RAFAEL CORREA, SAYING: "There are critical hours during which there is hope of life but, on the other hand, there are dead bodies in the rubble beginning to decompose, so we must deal with those bodies and worry more about that, than the remote possibility that someone is still alive." The quake was the country's worst in decades, and is likely to hit its struggling economy. Correa has said Ecuador will take years and billions of dollars to rebuild.
