ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: U.S. Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz on Monday (May 2) tried unsuccessfully to win over a small crowd of supporters of his chief rival, front runner Donald Trump, at an impromptu campaign stop in Marion, Indiana. He tried earnestly to reason with a Trump supporter about what Cruz said were Trump's lies to the American people, but the avowed supporter of the billionaire real estate mogul simply told Cruz that, come Tuesday, Cruz will see that "Indiana don't want you." The state holds its primary on Tuesday and Cruz is emphasizing his Christian faith on the campaign trail, telling voters that Trump is not an authentic Republican.
