This weekend, Captain America has muscled his way to the top of the box office, pulling in a beefy $181.8 million in North American ticket sales. The action-packed superhero flick has made U.S. box office history, with the fifth-best opening weekend ever. "Marvel's The Avengers" is in that elite club. And the past actions of the Avengers lead into the new storyline. Captain America, played by Chris Evans, and Iron Man played by Robert Downey Jr. more than clash over superhero politics. The story of young Mowgli and his wild friends swings into second place at the box office. Disney's The Jungle Book feasts on $21.9 million in ticket sales this weekend, proving that an old tale still has legs. And one can't forget about Mother's Day... especially with such star power. Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts and Kate Hudson star in the number three film, a look at different lives, different worries and different parents, but it all added up to $9 million in ticket sales this weekend.
