STORY: It's an issue that has followed her on the campaign trail, that fact that she used her private email account to conduct government business while serving as Secretary of State. The FBI is investigating whether anyone in Clinton's operation broke the law as result of setting up or using the personal email server that was kept in her New York home. In a statement, her campaign said the former first lady met with federal investigators at F-B-I headquarters in Washington, D.C. on Saturday. The statement said the meeting lasted three and a half hours. It comes just four weeks before the Democratic Party is expected to formally nominate Clinton as its candidate for the Nov. 8 presidential election. It also comes two days after Attorney General Loretta Lynch met privately with Clinton's husband, former President Bill Clinton, at an airport in Arizona. The encounter has prompted Republican lawmakers to say that they don't trust the Justice Department to conduct the inquiry impartially, and call for an independent investigation.
