It's coming full circle. U.S. President Barack Obama will make his first campaign appearance with Democratic presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton. Obama is set to campaign for his former secretary of state and one-time rival at a rally in North Carolina. SOUNDBITE: U.S PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA, SAYING: "In fact, I don't think there's ever been someone so qualified to hold this office." It will be their first joint appearance since Obama endorsed Clinton last month. And likely the beginning of many appearances by Obama on Clinton's behalf. It closes a circle of sorts on a relationship that started professionally as colleagues in the U.S. Senate, grew tense as rivals in the 2008 race, and became close when Clinton served as Obama's top diplomat. Also campaigning in North Carolina will be Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee who has recently been under fire for a social media post he made that showed Clinton next to the Star of David.
