ROUGH CUT (No reporter narration) STORY: U.S. President Barack Obama hosted World Series Champions the Kansas City Royals at the White House to celebrate their win over the New York Mets last year in the 111th World Series. "Let's give it up for the World Series Champions, the Kansas City Royals," Obama said. In fact, he repeated it again, The World Series Champions." He chided the team for their nick names saying they are "not that creative, you know its like Barack Obama, listen to this Hoz, Moose...we are going to have to work on these." "At the plate you have got guys who hardly ever strike out, they have been called basically the best contact team ever, so fast, once on bas they are able to squeeze out extra runs, because as, I love this quote, as Jarrod Dyson puts it 'That's what speed do." Obama said. Kansas City, stung by a near miss in the previous year's World Series when their rousing run as a Wild Card team fell short in a Game Seven against the San Francisco Giants, were on a mission to go one step further in 2015 and were not to be denied.
