Republican Donald Trump insists his presidential campaign is unified, as he faces open revolt from some in his party over his dispute with the parents of a Muslim American soldier who died in Iraq. Jillian Kitchener reports.

Trump has had a running dispute with Khizr and Ghazala Khan since THIS speech at the Democratic National Convention, citing their son's sacrifice as a soldier killed in Iraq and pointing a finger back at Trump. Trump has fought back. But top Republican Paul Ryan and Senator John McCain say it's inappropriate to do so. Trump is now reportedly denying them support in their re-election bids. According to media reports, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus is furious that Trump will NOT drop his battle with the Khans. They're reportedly looking at options in case Trump drops out of the presidential race. But despite all of this, Trump insists his presidential campaign is united. (SOUNDBITE) (English) PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA, SAYING: "I think the Republican nominee is unfit to serve as president..." President Obama is not alone. Prominent Republican fundraiser Meg Whitman says Trump is a threat to democracy. Amid the fury, she is now endorsing Democrat Hillary Clinton's White House bid.
