The battleground state of Ohio saw Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton out in force on Labor Day Monday, alongside the vice presidential nominees: (SOUNDBITE) DEMOCRATIC VICE PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE, TIM KAINE, SAYING: "I think you know, Labor Day sort of starts the home stretch of the campaign. Trump and his VP pick Mike Pence kicked off the frenzied last stretch by meeting with labor leaders and union members before heading to a state fair in the Youngstown area. (SOUNDBITE) REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE, DONALD TRUMP, SAYING: "We'll bring our jobs back..." The issue of job creation was high on the Labor Day agenda. (SOUNDBITE) DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE, HILLARY CLINTON, SAYING: "Anyone willing to work hard should have a job that can support them and their families." Both Trump and Clinton will go head-to-head this fall with three scheduled debates, which Trump on his plane said he WOULD not miss. (SOUNDBITE) REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE, DONALD TRUMP, SAYING: "I look forward to the debates." Hillary Clinton welcomed the press corps to HER new plane, after it was unveiled in New York. (SOUNDBITE) HILLARY CLINTON, SAYING: "...Last moment before the mad dash, the next two months so I hope you guys are ready. (Reporter asks: Are you ready?) I'm ready. I'm more than ready." Clinton and Trump's planes at one point sat side-by-side on the tarmac- a symbol of the state's importance... One that has for decades sided with the White House winner. And the heat is on, with just over 60 days to go.
