STORY: Scenes from the front-lines as Turkey-backed rebel fighters close-in on villages north of Aleppo. Amateur video, which cannot be independently verified by Reuters, comes amid signs of the end of a ceasefire in Syria. On Monday, Syria's military declared that the ceasefire over. This comes as the seven-day initial period for a ceasefire brokered by the US and Russia ends -- with no sign yet on whether the truce would be reinstated. A planned delivery of humanitarian aid to besieged rebel-held districts of eastern Aleppo - one of the first steps in the deal - has been repeatedly postponed. Trucks holding food that could feed thousands remained stuck at the border. The agreement is the second ceasefire negotiated by Washington and Moscow this year in the hope of advancing a political end to a war now in its sixth year -- a war that has killed hundreds of thousands of people. While the ceasefire has led to a significant reduction in fighting, violence has been increasing in recent days -- as a new state of uncertainty takes hold.
