It's a distressing time for the Rohingya refugees arriving in their hundreds in Bangladesh from neighbouring Myanmar. They're fleeing as Myanmar troops step up their offensive against Muslim militants. Some aid workers say more than 500 arrived at United Nations camps in Cox's Bazar on Monday alone. They tell of soldiers killing family members and burning down their homes. Myanmar's military and the government are denying the allegations, and others by residents and civil rights groups that soldiers have raped Rohingya women. Earlier this month Myanmar denied its troops had been killing people trying to flee the conflict. The escalating violence that's driven people to seek refuge here has led to nearly 90 deaths and displaced an estimated 30, 000.
