ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) U.S. President Donald Trump hosted the National Governors Association on Sunday (February 26) night for the Governor's Dinner at the White House, telling the room it was the record number of governors in attendance for the dinner. "I just want to salute and toast the governors, the great governors, of the United States," Trump said. "They have done an amazing job, such an easy job you have. So easy." Trump also invited Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe, chair of the NGA and a prominent backer of Trump's presidential campaign rival Hillary Clinton, to speak. "I am chairman of the National Governors Association so I'm not sure if the 46th largest crowd ever is due to my chairmanship or your presidency, but tonight in the spirit of bipartisanship, we will both take credit for the greatest NGA meeting in the history of NGA meetings," McAuliffe said.
