U.S. President Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, flew into Iraq on Monday with the United States' top general to get a first-hand assessment of the battle against Islamic State from commanders and Iraqi leaders. Rough cut (no reporter narration).

U.S. President Donald Trump's son in law and adviser, Jared Kushner, visited Iraq on Monday (April 3) to get a first hand account of the battle against Islamic State from commanders and Iraqi leaders. Kushner was accompanied by the top America's top military general, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Joseph Dunford, who said he invited Kushner to the country to hear "first-hand and unfiltered" assessments. This was Kushner's first visit to Iraq, where he also met Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi. Kushner, whose personal history is in real estate, joined with the White House's Homeland Security adviser, Tom Bossert, on the trip.
