ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Scarlett Johansson shared her feelings on Ivanka Trump's role in the Trump administration during an appearance at Tina Brown's Women in the World Summit in New York on Thursday (April 6). Ivanka, who recently took an unpaid position as an assistant to her father, President Trump, said recently in an interview that "the impact I have, over time most people will not actually know about." While speaking with journalist Arianna Huffington, the actress called those comments baffling. "I think you can't have it both ways, if you take a job as a public advocate then you must advocate publicly, right? And yesterday she said something which I found particularly disappointing, which is that she thought the greatest change that she was going - the biggest influence that she was going to have, or the change that she would make actually would be behind closed doors, nobody would actually know that she had made this change. I thought to myself, well that's empowering. How old-fashioned, you know, this idea that behind a great man is a great woman. What about being in front of that person or next to them or standing on your own?" During the talk Johansson said she grew up in a politically active family and has always had an interest in government.
