ROUGH CUT. NO REPORTER NARRATION. Speaking at an election campaign appearance on Monday (May 8) in Harrow, northwest London, British Prime Minister Theresa May urged voters to give her a mandate to match that of French President elect Emmanuel Macron. She says Macron was elected with a "strong mandate" which will enable him to take a tough line during the UK's talks with the European Union over Brexit. Macron was voted in as France's new president on Sunday (May 7) with a landslide victory. He won with about 66 percent of the vote, against his rival Marine Le Pen, who received just under 34 percent.
