ROUGH CUT. NO REPORTER NARRATION. Israel and the U.S. must strengthen ties to deal with common threat of Iran according to President Donald Trump who is visiting the country as part of a tour of the region. "Israel and America face common threats from ISIS and other terrorist groups to countries like Iran that sponsor terrorism," Trump said at a press conference at the Israeli President's residence. "There is a growing realization among your Arab neighbors that they have common cause with you in the threat posed by Iran. And it is indeed a threat, there is no question about it," Trump told President Rivlin. The U.S. President arrived in Israel on Monday (May 22) on a flight from Saudi Arabia and will meet separately with both Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in an attempt to revive peace talks. His nine-day trip through the Middle East and Europe, his first foreign tour since taking office in January, ends on Saturday (May 27) after visits to the Vatican, Brussels and Sicily.
