Man arrested at Trump's Washington hotel after guns found in car

Brian Moles, 43, of Edinboro, Pennsylvania, was arrested at President Donald Trump's Washington hotel early on Wednesday after police found an assault rifle, a handgun and 90 rounds of ammunition in his car, Police Chief Peter Newsham said. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: A Pennsylvania man was arrested at President Donald Trump's Washington hotel early on Wednesday (May 31) after police found an assault rifle, a handgun and 90 rounds of ammunition in his car, authorities said. Brian Moles, 43, of Edinboro, was taken into custody inside the Trump International Hotel a few blocks from the White House, according to the city's chief of police, Peter Newsham. Police had been told Moles had a Glock 23 pistol and a Carbon 15 Bushmaster rifle, the incident report said. Officers saw one of the guns in his car and found a second firearm in the glove compartment. Moles also had 30 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition and 60 .223-caliber rounds, the report said. He was charged with carrying a pistol without a license and possessing unregistered ammunition, the document said.
