New details are emerging in the suspected murder of mother of three, Kristy Manzanares, aboard a cruise ship off the coast of Alaska. The 39-year-old died Tuesday night in a cabin on the gigantic Emerald Princess cruise ship where she was traveling with her husband and three daughters. Kenneth Manzanares is now in custody and charged with her murder. Fellow passenger Charles Rowen says his wife saw Manzaneres on his cabin's balcony. (SOUNDBITE) (English) PASSENGER ON EMERALD PRINCESS, CHARLES ROWEN, SAYING: "…she thought he was going to jump over the rail, and at one point he put his hand on the rail and set his rear on it, but she started yelling get back in." Withnesses described a gruesome scene inside. According to court documents one passenger reportedly entered their cabin to find Kristy Manzanere's body on the floor and her husband covered in blood. When asked what had happened he reportedly said: "She wouldn't stop laughing at me." The incident took place during a murder-mystery themed dinner on the Emerald Princess that the couple took part in, leading some on board to think it was a hoax. On the quiet street in Santa Clara, Utah where the couple lived, neighbors say they were stunned by the news. (SOUNDBITE) (English) UNIDENTIFIED NEIGHBOR, SAYING: "This is totally out of character for what we would have known about them." The couple were reportedly celebrating a wedding anniversary with the seven day cruise. But what should have been a memorable family holiday ended in tragedy, with Kenneth Manzanares reportedly telling security officers - "My life is over".
