ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Dozens of candles and flowers were laid on Barcelona's Las Ramblas boulevard on Friday night (August 18) to pay tribute to the 13 people who lost their lives when a van plowed into crowds on Thursday. Many mourners spent time at the memorial, which also included heartfelt notes and messages. The attack was the deadliest one in Spain since March 2004, when Islamist militants placed bombs on commuter trains in Madrid, killing 191 people. Of the 126 people injured in Barcelona and Cambrils, 65 are still in hospital and 17 are in a critical condition. The dead and injured came from 34 countries, ranging from France and Germany to Pakistan and the Philippines
