SHOWS: AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND (SEPTEMBER 16, 2017) (TVNZ - Broadcasters: NO ACCESS NEW ZEALAND Digital: NO ACCESS NEW ZEALAND INTERNET SITES / ANY INTERNET SITE OF ANY NEW ZEALAND OR AUSTRALIAN BASED MEDIA ORGANISATIONS OR MOBILE PLATFORMS) 1. (SOUNDBITE) (English) NEW ZEALAND ALL BLACKS RUGBY UNION COACH, STEVE HANSEN SAYING: "Look, we're very, very proud of it. The boys had a good week and, as we said, we're trying to get better all the time. We've been working on different things and we've come in tonight pretty clear about how we wanted to play and what we wanted to achieve and a lot of those things come off tonight so we're pretty happy." 2. WHITE FLASH 3. (SOUNDBITE) (English) SOUTH AFRICA COACH ALLISTER COETZEE, SAYING: "They're a quality side and I said it in the week. Obviously we're disappointed, the players are hurting and it's definitely not through a lack of effort. Definitely, I'm pleased with the way we kept fighting, passages of great defence, passages of great attack but we couldn't break them - they were just too good." STORY: All Blacks coach Steve Hansen was reluctant to state it explicitly, but the 57-0 demolition of traditional rivals South Africa on Saturday (September 16) in Auckland was an emphatic warning to the rest of the rugby world. The world champions demonstrated they could be ruthlessly clinical in seizing scoring opportunities and at the same time be equally aggressive in defence as they consigned the world's third best team to their worst test match defeat. South Africa coach Allister Coetzee remained pragmatic in defeat, telling reporters that the All Blacks "were just too good". The All Blacks, who lead the Rugby Championship on 19 points, reassemble in Auckland on Friday (September 22) for the trip to Argentina, where they can seal their second successive title with a victory.
