Hurricane Maria's powerful winds lashing Puerto Rico on Wednesday, bringing down fences while turning low-lying streets into rivers. The 155 mile per hour winds tore down thick branches and uprooted trees. Maria weakened into a Category 2 storm as it passed over the island, but with winds at 110 miles per hour, it was still a powerful hurricane... the second one to hit the Caribbean this month. Puerto Rico Governor Ricardo Rossello tweeting in Spanish that "The danger continues - there are flood warnings for all of Puerto Rico. Stay in safe places." Authorities believed electricity was out across the island. And with visibility poor and rainfall still dumping between 10 to 15 inches, the full extent of the damage remains unknown. Meanwhile, the island of Dominica, where Maria hit first earlier this week, getting to see the destruction. An aerial view showing mud, debris and rooftops scattered. The storm killed at least seven people there, while two others died on the French island of Guadeloupe. And with Maria now heading toward the Dominican Republic, many more lives are still at risk.
