ROUGH CUT. NO REPORTER NARRATION. Australian actress Margot Robbie and Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson walked the London red carpet on Wednesday (September 20) for their new movie 'Goodbye Christopher Robin'. The biopic of the Winnie the Pooh creator, AA Milne, reveals the sad story behind the happy bear character and his friends. The movie focuses on the troubled author's relationship with his son, Billy (Christopher Robin in real life) and the unusual creation of the beloved character, the rights for which were later sold to Disney. Eight-year-actor Will Tilston plays Robin as a kid and says he knew little about the story behind the cheerful bear. Robbie, whose movie 'I, Tonya' gathered rave reviews at the Toronto Film Festival, says she's just in search of good female roles. 'Goodbye Christopher Robin' is in UK theatres on September 29.
