Algeria appoints new ministers, keeps some in place

ALGIERS, Jan 2 (Reuters) - Algeria’s new Prime Minister Abdelaziz Djerad has appointed a new government, keeping in place the foreign, energy and interior ministers.

Abderrahmane Raouia was appointed Finance Minister in the new cabinet, which follows Djerad’s own appointment on Saturday by President Abdelmajdid Tebboune, who was elected last month. (Reporting By Lamine Chikhi, writing by Angus McDowall Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
