Argentine peso weakens 1.68 pct to new record low 28.6 per dollar

BUENOS AIRES, June 29 (Reuters) - Argentina’s beleaguered peso currency fell by 1.68 percent on Friday to a new record low 28.60 per U.S. dollar, traders said, driven lower by weakness in emerging markets generally and uncertainty about the local economy.
