Brazil airline Azul posts 438 million reais loss affected by weak currency

SAO PAULO, Nov 7 (Reuters) - Brazil airline Azul SA reported a net loss of 438 million reais, affected heavily by the depreciation of the Brazilian real, the company said on Thursday in a securities filing.

Azul is Brazil’s No. 3 airline and is undergoing an aggressive expansion strategy that also comes with higher expenses. (Reporting by Carolina Mandl; Editing by Jon Boyle)
