S&P Maalot removes Bezeq Telecom from creditwatch

JERUSALEM, Feb 6 (Reuters) - Standard & Poor’s Israeli unit Maalot said on Sunday it had removed Bezeq Israel Telecom (BEZQ.TA) from its “creditwatch” list but kept a “negative” outlook due to expectations of a deteriorating financial profile.

S&P Maalot reiterated an “AA+” rating for Bezeq, Israel’s largest telecoms group. It also rates Bezeq’s mobile phone unit Pelephone as “AA+”, with negative implications but Maalot removed Pelephone from its “creditWatch” list.

The ratings agency cited special dividends as likely leading to narrower profit. (Reporting by Steven Scheer; Editing by David Holmes)
