UK's Gatwick airport says no flights until at least 1600 GMT

LONDON, Dec 20 (Reuters) - Britain’s Gatwick Airport said its runway remained unavailable because of drone sightings and has advised all airlines to cancel flights up to at least 1600 GMT, it said on Thursday.

The London airport said it anticipated disruption would continue throughout Thursday and into Friday.

“We are working tirelessly with our airlines to put plans in place to recover our operation once given the go ahead that our runway can re-open,” it said. (Reporting by James Davey, Editing by Paul Sandle)
