DUP says will vote against British PM May's Brexit deal

BELFAST, March 27 (Reuters) - The Northern Irish party which props up Prime Minister Theresa May’s government said on Wednesday it would vote against her deal, rejecting earlier media reports that it might abstain.

“The DUP do not abstain on the union,” deputy party leader Nigel Dodds wrote in a Twitter post. Sky television editor Beth Rigby said in another Twitter post that Dodds had confirmed to her that the party would vote against the deal. (Reporting by Conor Humphries; Editing by Hugh Lawson)
