British pound set for biggest rising streak in more than three decades

LONDON, Oct 17 (Reuters) - The British pound jumped more than a percent against the dollar on Thursday after Britain clinched a Brexit deal with the European Union.

Sterling has gained six percent against the dollar over the last six trading sessions, its biggest rising streak since October 1985, according to Refinitiv data.
