Canadian home sales rise in August from July -CREA

TORONTO, Sept 17 (Reuters) - Resales of Canadian homes rose 0.9 percent in August from July, notching the fourth straight monthly rise but remaining below the highs seen in recent years, the Canadian Real Estate Association said on Monday.

The industry group said actual sales, not seasonally adjusted, fell 3.8 percent from a year earlier, while the group’s Home Price Index was up 2.5 percent from August 2017. (Reporting by Fergal Smith Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
