Speculators' net long U.S. dollar bets rise to highest since late June - CFTC, Reuters

NEW YORK, Aug 2 (Reuters) - Speculators’ net long dollar position rose to its highest level in about five weeks, according to calculations by Reuters and U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission data released on Friday.

The value of the net long dollar position was $18.70 billion in the week ended July 30, compared with $15.32 billion in the previous week. U.S. net long dollars rose for a second straight week. (Reporting by Gertrude Chavez-Dreyfuss; editing by Jonathan Oatis)
