China approves imports from 3 Irish beef processors - Irish broadcaster

BEIJING, April 16 (Reuters) - China has approved imports of frozen boneless beef from three Irish beef processors, Ireland’s national broadcaster RTE said on Monday, citing the Minister for Agriculture Michael Creed.

The approval gives Ireland access to the world’s fastest growing beef market and second largest importer for the first time.

Dublin is hoping for approval for a further five plants, the report added.
