Brazilian meat group says not notified of China anti-dumping claim

SAO PAULO, Aug 18 (Reuters) - A Brazilian group representing chicken producers and exporters told Reuters on Friday that neither it nor its industry had been notified by Brazil’s government of an anti-dumping probe started by China.

ABPA, as the industry group is know, denies that Brazilian chicken exporters sell products below market prices, according to Francisco Turra, its president. China’s government on Friday launched an anti-dumping investigation into imports of Brazilian broiler chicken and products after a complaint from Chinese industry.
