Congo balancing budget without printing money - finance minister

KINSHASA, Aug 19 (Reuters) - The Democratic Republic of Congo balanced its budget in all but two months between January and July without reverting to old habits of printing money to pay bills, Finance Minister Henri Yav Mulang said on Saturday.

Mulang was addressing a joint news conference in Kinshasa with central bank Governor Deogratias Mutombo. (Reporting by Amedee Mwarabu; Writing by Tim Cocks; Editing by Edmund Blair)
