Cricket-Bad light stops play in Sydney test

SYDNEY, Jan 5 (Reuters) - Play in the fourth test between Australia and India was suspended for bad light in the final session of the third day on Saturday with storm clouds threatening rain.

Peter Handscomb (28) and Pat Cummins (25) were at the crease with Australia on 236 for six, 386 runs behind India’s first innings 622-7 declared.

India need a draw at the Sydney Cricket Ground to win the four-match series. (Reporting by Nick Mulvenney, editing by Peter Rutherford)
